Tang Technology was approached by a client living on a family farm in Dardanup, in the South West region of Western Australia. The property is a rammed earth home with a corrugated steel roof, surrounded by several thousand head of sheep and cattle.
Despite being located within 5km of a Telstra 4G/5G tower and having used NBN Fixed Wireless for over 8 years, the family experienced severe communication and connectivity issues.

Following an onsite assessment and detailed discussions with the client, Tang Technology proposed and delivered a complete connectivity upgrade:

Internet Service Transition:
- Decommissioned existing NBN Fixed Wireless connection.
- Installed SpaceX Starlink high-speed internet service for reliable, low-latency connectivity.

Networking Hardware Deployment:
- Installed Draytek High-Speed Security Router for stable and secure internet performance.
- Deployed multiple TP-Link Omada WiFi 6 Access Points strategically around the home.
- Configured a dedicated TP-Link Omada Controller for centralised WiFi management.

- Utilised existing cabling infrastructure where possible.
- Installed new Cat6 cabling for high-speed connections.
- Ensured all external roof penetrations and mountings were watertight and resistant to local heavy wind and rain.
