PoE to DC Cable

This adapter cable allows to you convert the output of a passive POE socket to a 2.1mm DC plug. 

• One end has an RJ-45 plug.
• The other end is a 2.1mm DC Plug
• Length is 1m

Wiring

• RJ-45 pins 4 & 5 to DC-plug centre (normally DC+ Voltage)
• RJ-45 pins 7 & 8 to DC-plug outer (normally DC- Voltage)
• RJ-45 pins 1,2,3 & 6 = no connection

Example Usage

The EdgeRouterPOE-5 is designed to support both 24 and 48 V POE outputs, but Ubiquiti only ships the product with a 24 V power pack which limits the functionality to 24V POE outputs. To use both 24 and 48V POE outputs, you need to provide your own 38~54 V x 60W DC power pack. 

With this kit you use a Ubiquiti 50 V POE injector, and this cable to supply the EdgeRouterPOE-5 with 50V x 60W giving full 24 and 48V POE functionality.
